There was an Asus employee on today's live PCPer.com webcast that talked about the Asus Z77 boards. He referred to the "unique new HQ audio solution" (the small 2" x 3" black rectangle on one corner of the Z77 Maximus V) as being involved in the delay of releasing the new board. And FWIW, another post on the PCPer comment board states that the Z77 Maximus V would be released "one month after the Z77 chipset", or maybe ~May 8.

Expect the Maximus V Formula to start at 349.99, Extreme should be 399.99
