Right now, it's a wait for motherboards. The 760, Magik, and KT133A are all just now going into full production. We won't see any retail 266mhz FSB chips until after the tweakers have gotten their hands on the first batch of 266mhz FSB mobos.

Gee, I guess that explains why Micron is selling systems with PC2100 memory, huh?

Is it Mr. or Ms. or Mrs. Micron?

I called MSI today to find out when I can get a K7T Turbo. They said one month due to new year holidays in China.

Actually the lady told me the fab plant was on vacation for a week now and would need a couple a more to ramp up and get out some quantity. She said the board was due out Jan 1 but wouldn't be available till the end of the month. Who knows if she's right, but she sounded quite sure of her facts.

And about the ABIT KT7A, anyone know when it will be available, they have it's description in their site, but nothing about release dates, and i'm to lazy to send them a mail.

Right now Im assuming most Taiwanese manufacturers will ship their new boards late January, because they all have the same new year holiday dates. Chinese new year is January 24th, so I think they will try to beat that date to ship the boards.

Sup, I called Abit in Freemont Ca. for you but they are closed till Jan 2.
You can call them then, if you want, at 1-510-623-0500. Maybe the Taipei office is open: 886-2-2698-1888.
