here's some additional information on my system: [cooling]

i have an antec sx830 w/ 4 80mm case fans [front coming in, back fans blowing out], and a pc power and cooling 2x turbo cool on the back of my power supply.
this cools my system to 22c.

i have a taisol cek733 heatsinc that came with the processor.

how fast can i overclock my 1.1ghz? also what settings should i put/adjust it to? thanks...

You'll have to try to find out. I think the multiplier can go up to 12, so that's 1.2ghz and depending on your mobo the fsb can go up to 110 max, so at most you'll get it up to ~1.3ghz. That's only if the chip can handle it though.

Well, a friend of mine O/C his 600mhz Duron to 1ghz with some big cooling so, if you used the same O?C on yours, you could sauy you could get it to 1.5ghz.

I think this is a bit un-realistic though, if the chip and the m/b will let you and you have a big fan then I reckon 1.3 - 1.35 ghz is a reasonable goal.

no way you will get past 1.3....like ltk007 said, the multiplier will only go up to 12 on your board, so if you can get it set to that, then its all up to your FSB.....12x110FSB = 1.32ghz, that might be obtainable

Try and Overclock it to 1300mhz and if it won't boot, demand that it does.

ahem

After further investigattion I would agree with rubberneck.

i always thought it was dependent on how the processor itself. if you know what your doing and it doesn't go it won't go higher just because other people got theirs higher
