Well, I pulled the ol' 1.6a out of my current rig and replaced it with a Mobile setup about a month ago. I put it in this case that my roommate won at a LAN, and had it running a game server.
Anyway, lately I went back and decided to try overclocking it some more. I hadn't had much luck in my old rig, only getting it to 2.1 or so before I'd start having errors.

However, this new case has a side fan that blows right over the RDRAM. Pretty nice, really, considering how hot that stuff gets. So I decide to push it and go for 2.3. Runs like a champ. 2.4? same. At this point I have the max voltage selected in teh BIOS (1.7V), however MBM only shows it running at 1.55V load. hmm...that's pretty bad...so I did the pin trick and tried again.

Long story short, this 1.6a is currently running at 2.6GHz, 1.7V on STOCK cooling. it gets to the low 50's load, which isn't bad by my standards. I think my limiting factor right now is the PSU...it's a generic 300W, I think it's starting to reach the limit. This weekend I get a 400W, and I'm going to try again. Hoping for 2.7V prime stable.

I was able to POST at 2.8GHz, but windows would crash before it finished loading.

So...what kind of overclocks have you guys gotten on stock HSF?
