Get the nVidia reference drivers, then do the "CoolBits" hack linked above. Works like a charm.

It seems earlier geforce cards required a hardware fix that would void any warranties...however geforce 2 2mx and 2 gts cards only require a registry hack to tell the drivers that it is a quadro and allow it to use some of the hardware features that makes a quadro card a quadro...
