My dad is a lawyer and I know his rates are around the 200 an hour range. It's funny, because we're pretty poor and in a huge amount of debt.

My lawyer in this hick town charges $300 per hour and he certainly wouldn't give a free consultation for a letter.

The going rate for most attorney ranges from $180 - $800 / hours.
In Southern California, most "decent" lawyers charges $300 /hr;
that is the going rat for most divorce attorneys.

Most ambulance chasers charges $200-$300.
Criminal Defense Attorney charges $500 / hr
I suppose most CRIMINALS in Calfornia are more affluent than most people 🙂

I'm a Paralegal. Most law FIRM charges $80 - $125/hr for our time.
Your attorney will probably have one of us type it and charge you $500 :evil:

I always thought being a paralegal would be interesting, but every time I get near a lawyer I feel like going postal. :evil:
