IN MN I don't believe we have a slum area. Lake street as close as I can come

Then they must have done all kinds of insane work to get rid of poverty and crime since I left, which I seriously doubt.
There were plenty of crummy areas in Brooklyn Park when I was there, but Jesse actually did a little work to keep them out.

West Louisville.
Spidey can back me on this.
Far North you have the "Portland" neighborhood, pure white trash & rednecks.
South of Broadway you have the ghettos & the projects. On average, there is one murder a day in west Louisville, every morning on the news, they report at least one shooting.

Somewhere near or part of Boston.

Hmmm, this is a tough call. The Cathedral street area in Lawrence (north of Boston) is kind of like a concentrated shit-tastic area but it's so small I'm not sure if it really counts.

I would have to say Dorchester (as a whole) plus Eastern Roxbury and parts of JP combine to make one huge shithole. JP and Roxbury are *slowly* being gentrified though.

Massachusetts - Dorchester is well known to even people from outside of the state. Chelsea is lesser known but just as run down and dangerous. Then you have Lowell, parts of Worcester, and parts of Springfield.

You picked Lowell over Lawrence????
