I haven't driven a whole lot of cars, and the cars that aren't mine...well I don't tend to drive them hard...since..well...they are't mine.

So I have to say that my previous 240SX and my buddy's 1987 carbed 1.5L 60hp CRX are two of the funnest cars I have ever driven. But then any car is fun to drive, u just gotta know how to drive it. :)

Edit, Proteges are also fun to drive.

I had a 76 Corolla SR5 in the snow for about 5 years of my life, best winters ever! :)
Got to wail on some kind of supercharged T/A a few weekends ago, pretty decent, but no comparison to my bike.
I'd say the slower cars are more fun anyways. Much more fun to try to drive hard.

I've driven two lexus's (boring), a camaro, a couple of accords and civics, a celica or two, mostly econoboxes or whatnot... since I did work at Infiniti last year of course I had the pleasure of driving a Q45, a G35 Sedan, and even a S2000 :) Too bad I didn't stay long enough for the FX45 or the g35 coupe

i work at a dealership, so mostly it has been cars that the dealership owned. i got to take the srt-4 home for the night because one of the stupid salemen broke the shifter and chrysler told us to drive it at least 25 miles to ensure that there weren't any internal problems.

1980 Jeep CJ5. It was the biggest piece of crap I've ever had. Bought it without seats bolted down. The motor was a wreck, no top, etc. It was a blast to just drive around in though. I need another open jeep so I can take off the doors. But since it was such a POS I didn't care what happened to it. It got beat up alot :D

Anyway here's shortly after I bought it (I didn't put on a top and bolt in a couple seats...bonus points if you can identify the vehicle the seats are out of) : http://johnmearns.com/gallery/vehicles/80cj5main

after very minor cosmetic enhancements:

you've driven all those (and not to mention, RWD) cars and you prefer the SRT-4? uh..... ? you prefer an srt-4 to a viper or vette?

it obviously doesn't have the sheer balls of some of the others, but it does 0-60 in 5.6 and it is just fun. the viper was faster, but not necessarily more fun.(it was a customer's, so i didn't rip on it too hard even though he told me to.)

Its more fun to drive a slow car fast than a fast car slow.

LOL, I made the step up from the same vehicle (Hyundai Elantra w/auto) almost a year ago to the day. The Hyundai was a fun car to throw around and made even the crappy morning commute tolerable. Reliable and decent fuel economy despite my abuse, too. Still, I'm a good bit happier with my 5-spd '98 323iC daily driver now. :)

The Hyundai's remained in the family (Dad's) so I can at any time relive the experience of sitting inside what was my first new car again. That car would've got me in so much trouble in stick... :D

Anyway, as I've only ever driven six cars for any sort of substantial length of time (the Hyundai, the Bimmer, Mom's Jag, an '86 Suby GL-10, '90 Caravan--NOT turbo :frown: --and my aunt's old Corolla) the funnest car I've ever been a passenger in would have to be my buddy's old red '68 Camaro drop-top. I think it'd be fair to say that the butt dyno would fly off the charts--on demand! :Q

My friend's turbo Integra GS-R at Willow Springs raceway. I rode passenger in my other friend's MK4 Supra too the same day which was fun, too bad I didn't ge to drive it.

A really nice older guy let me drive his BMW M5 at a car meet also. I got to take it up to a whopping 30 MPH, but it was still a thrill to get behind the wheel of one.

it didn't impress me much.

Well... we didn't really drive it... we just did burn outs and sum other stufff you dont want to do in with your own car. It was also winter so we took it to a icy lot at nite. Maybe that's why it was fun.......

A 1982 Pontiac Acadian.

There's nothing like driving down a highway at 120KPH in a go-kart. It was also easy to park, cheap to repair, and great for fishtails on those cold & slippery winter mornings.

Look at the sexy beast!
