Whats the fastest CPU I can put in an old Asus P2B?

My wife's computer is a P3-500 on a P2B. Still runs strong, but a little anemic on some programs.

Whats the best CPU I can put in the old critter? Did Intel ever release a P3-1Ghz Slot 1 processor?
