Whats the fastest CPU I can put in a socket 2

Yeah the 486 sx/sx2/dx/dx2 dx4 overdrive and the 486 pentium overdrive.

Isnt that kinda strange how there are 486's for the socket 1,2 and 3.
 
Isn't socket 2 for 386? .........well at least i remember my 486 came with zero insertion froce socket 3....?
 
486 I believe, Socket 3 can fit Socket 2's also. Here's what I know, I got in a old system that was dead, it was Socket 3, but the CPU was Socket 2, and it was a 486 DX2 Overdrive running @ 75MHz. I honestly dunno if that's the highest or not.
