What's the earliest, would you say, that you should call someone on the weekends?

Most of my friends have young children so anytime after 8AM is acceptable. Hell, if I get to sleep in until 7AM on the weekends I'm happy.

8 or 9 am

if you don't want your phone ringing, turn off the ringer and the person calling can leave a message or text you or email you

you do have some control over this process as well

I think this varies greatly upon who you are calling.
College/HS kid? Not before 10am
Parent/Adult? Not before 8am
Parent of young kid? 7am is probably fine.

Wow... really?

I don't see the point of putting an alarm on a saturday, so I usually end up waking up around 11-12. By the time I shower, wake up etc it's usually around 1:00 sometimes later. I can't force myself out of bed if I don't have to, I try all the time.

Hmm if you're a college kid, you probably slept at 3-4 am last night. 8 hours of sleep plus 2 hours of recovery=2pm at the earliest.

I dunno how a lot of you guys do it... waking up that late seems like such a waste of a day. I can't sleep past 8:30 am no matter when I go to sleep.

Yeah, same here. I went to bed around 2:00 AM last night and woke up at 7:30 this morning.

that's only after a productive day... like yesterday. woke up at 4:30am to drive to Tahoe for some snowboarding. Got home at 10pm or so. Day trips are exhausting. Showered and knocked out. No alarm. Those lazy Sundays happen once in a while but when they do, they're awesome.

the most awesome days are when you know you have nothing you need to wake up to, and you put in earplugs. Oh man. So nice. Pure silence.

10 AM unless it is an emergency.

People were calling the house at 7 AM, when they know she is awake and when I have worked nights it would wake me up some times. I asked her to please not have anyone call before 10 AM on the house phone, have them call her cell phone. She looked at me funny and I informed her I could just unplug the house phone and not have to deal with it at all.

Unless it's VERY important...not before 10 am. You'd better be dying if you call my house earlier than that.
