What's the easiest way to setup profiles on multiple computers?

Hey all, my employer just assigned me the position of network administrator here where I work. Previously, they had just 1 guy from corporate office in New York that would come maybe once every 3 or 4 months. That server is all cluttered and I need to do some house cleaning on it... hehe... But anyways, here's what I need to do. We have about 100 machines that will use the same logon name and password all running Windows 98SE. They all pretty much have the same applications saved on them and some applications are just run off the server. The problem is, over time people would start installing their own stuff and things start getting messed up. I need to know how I would go about setting up profiles for all these machines without having to go and run poledit on each one. I need every machine to have the exact same icons on the desktop and start menu and be able to prevent users from deleting and changing them. I have a profile directory on the server with all the shortcuts that I plan to use. I just need an overview and your opinions before I get started. Thanks alot guys!
