I'm looking for a a credit card processing system that's easy to set up and manage, but doesn't require users to leave my website. I want something where they can just type in a number and expiration on a page I have designed, and then the credit card company just approves/disapproves and charges the card.

what do you use?

Err....wasn't this a topic yesterday.?

I think you can either set up a storefront at someone else site (like an ebay/yahoo storefront)....

Or I would suggest going to visa or mastercards sites and seeing what they say.

I know at work we use Chase merchant services, but that's probably due to all the hardware and support and blah blah blah blah.

Paypal is the easiest to integrate, and not much more (percentage-wise) than if you set up with an independant CC processing company. Assuming you are doing Internet sales on the site. (Car not present)

And if you don't want to use Paypal - you will need some sort of payment gateway. I have ICVerify I used.

heh. easiest would be to just have a form entry where they type in credit cards and click submit. you probably want something a bit more than "easiest"...

This may be possible with a merchant account but that charges at least $25/mo in fees, even if you sell $0.

If you are interested let me know.

Rossman, I'm interested in finding an ecommerce webhost besides yahoo which charges 1.5% fee for each transaction!

I would highly suggest seperating ecommerce mercahnt acconts, and webhosting.

Also, if the 1.5% is the fee they take for processing credit cards, then that is VERY CHEAP. Standard CC processing is somewhere around 2-3% with a merchant account.

I agree. Good web hosting starts at $30/mo plus merchant account fees.
