How can I set the bit rate to 112 using Lame under EAC?
I've tried the setting the "Compression Options" in EAC to 112, but it still encodes in VBR format. Changing from "High Quality" to "Low Quality" helps reduce the MP3 size. But even in low quality it still uses VBR encoding.
Don't preach to me about VBR offering more efficient compression. I'm listening to these MP3's in a noisy environment. So squeezing more on a CF card trumps "HI Fidelity".![]()
