I'm planning on reformatting my computer and reinstalling everything. What is the easiest way to save all my files and settings for all my Office 2007 programs, especially Outlook and Word, and reimport them once I've got everything cleared off? What do I have to do? Is there one best way to back everything up so I can just get it all back into place once I've reformatted?

Thanks guys - all suggestions appreciated!

Bump - still looking.

I found the Easy Transfer Wizard on Vista, but I'm not sure how much of Office's files and settings it will transfer - all of them? Like if I reinstall Vista, reinstall Office 2007, and reload the Easy Transfer File, will Outlook be just like it was before (same Calendar settings and entries, contact setting and contacts, etc.)?

not sure if theres a program to do it. If youre comp works though...

Word docs are just in <user name> -> documents
Contacts are in <user name> -> contacts
export the emails and calendar stuff within outlook (file -> export)

Then just reimport them once youre reformatted.. The only thing youll need to do is reset your email username/pw/pop3/smtp info.

All right, thanks guys...I'm going to give this Easy Transfer Wizard a try, and if not, I've just backed all the data up by hand anyway, and I can just do the settings manually if it doesn't work.
