Whats the easies way to set up a VPN?

I have a Slackware 9.1 box up and running @ my fathers place behind a DSL/Router on cable acting as a web server. I would like to be able to have that linux machine act as a VPN Host so I can use my home Windows machine to become just another node on the remote network through the Slackware box. I would prefere to use the windows built in VPN Dial up software.

I am still a little confused about how routing is done in my fathers network if I use a VPN client. His internal network is 192.168.2.X and the linux machine is 192.168.2.101. If I set up a VPN host on that machine, would the TAP have a 192.168.Y.X (where Y is something other than 2) and some route entry put in to route between the two subnets?

If Anyone has any suggestions, I am all ears..

Thanks
