What's the dumbest purchase you've ever made?

Guns.. I bought them, used them on a few hunting trips, then have been out of the country or otherwise not able to keep them with me (they are stored at my brother's) for the past 3 years. Cost maybe $1100 total. Shotgun, 30-06, muzzleloader.

spent about $4k on a pool table and have played ~10 games on it over 5 years...plus it's a 9' table and the games go on forever at 4am when drunk as hell. Plus it takes up more than half of my basement and I'd like to throw a projector and a couple sofas in that area now. Looks real nice though.

Those Air Hog toys. Really fun for the first few trys. But really delicate.

My wife's Toyota RAV4. It's a nice vehicle, but I should have bought something a little cheaper. I hate car payments.

Throw in an HD projector and a couple leather sectionals and you have a deal.
