There is no DOS reboot or shutdown command. Never has been.
There's no need for one, as if you're at a DOS prompt, there are no programs waiting to save data. Even smartdrv flushes it's cache before the system shows a DOS prompt, so it's not an issue. Just press CTRL+ALT+DEL to reboot.
wouldnt typing in C:\con\con work? Granted, it's not so much a restart as it is a crash, but nevertheless......
btw, why the hell were you running DOS on a p200?!
There is a zipfile here called 'batchman' - it has files called 'warmboot' and 'coldboot' - I'd be curious as to if and how these programs reboot your computer, although I'm not smart enough.
are u seriouslly in dos or are you using w2k or xp? if you are there is a command called shutdown. you can rebot your computer with it. you can also be nasty and reboot other peoples computer with it if you have proper access

no i was messing about in dos when i was formatting my PC a couple weeks back, when i realized i couldnt remember sh*t about the commands.
