whats the diffrence between pocket PC, and windows CE?

I'm not an expert here, but basically Pocket PC is the updated (and from what I understand, much better) version of CE.

As I understand it, CE is the kernel and Pocket PC is the interface

WinCE had a bad rep, so MS renamed WinCE 3.0 to PocketPC. I hear PocketPC is actually pretty good - the older WinCEs were pretty buggy.

I think PocketPC is like the entire unit. You have to have certian things, like a voice recorder, certain software and such to actually be a PocketPC. Thats why the newest Casio isn't a PocketPC, yet runs WinCE
