An OEM chip comes bare, with no heatsink, but, it also comes with no warranty (at least from the manufacturer). The only warranty provided is provided through where you bought the processor, usually 15-30 days.
Well the only reason I ask is because I plan on going back home this weekend, and I was planning on running into Fry's and TigerDirect's warehouse and see if I could find any Q6600 G0's. If I found one reasonably priced that was an OEM, would you see any reason not to get it?
