I'm thinking of buying Microsoft Visual Studio from school and I'm wondering if the one at school is any different from the ones at Microsoft.com. The one at school is the Professional edition just like the one on their site. So are there any differences other than price? Also, will I be able to upgrade the one from school to newer versions later?

The one you get at school has a 'student' lisence which means you can't do stuff for profit or what not with the scripts you right.

So all the software that is in the normal VS is included in the 'student' version? I just can't sell it and make money, right?

I wish ours was that cheap. It's about $350 here.
