... between Win98 with all the updates, and Win98SE?

I remember when Win98SE just came out, everyone's just saying that 98SE isn't worth it, since it's just Win98 will all the MS updates plus Internect Connection Sharing. But looking at the threads these days, any mention about Win98 is almost non-existent... and it seems that many will recommend Win98SE in posts regarding "Should I upgrade to WinME" topics. :confused:

My son-in-law got me a copy of Win98SE and Win2000pro. The SE is an upgrade version and I can really tell you that its much more stable than
its predecessor. The Win2K I like to play with and the graphics look better but my Win98 is much faster and more familiar.

Differences between Win98 and Win98SE "out of the box":

Win98 has DirectX5, IE4;
Win98S has DirectX6, IE5, a newer driver set (along with better USB support), and ICS-Internet Connection Sharing. Of all the items different, ICS is the only thing that is not downloadable.
