The W0093RU is based on a Channel Well 450W.

The W0100RU is based on a different Channel Well; one that is rated at 500W continuous.

It's pretty clear to me that the 93RU was replaced by the 100RU due to the lack of SLI support (one PCIe) and getting busted for labeling a 450W as a 500W.

Unfortunately, old inventory often gets overlooked. They put the 100RU on sale neglecting to think of the 93RU's they still had in stock.

Awesome answer! Has anyone told you how appreciated you are?

Even on the better/newer one, the +12v seems a bit weak. The label doesn't show what the combined amperage is, and even if it adds up 100% (which is usually not the case) it will only have 29A on the +12v, which seems a bit low for a modern unit. Even the perennial budget favorite EarthWatts 500W has 34A combined. Heck, the 450W Corsair has 33A and the 550W Corsair that I just got has 41A.

So the newer, cheaper one is better then? Thanks.
