Here's one thats been chappin me bad.

Its a simple question, but I cant seem to get a streight answer. Maybe everyone knows but me.

What is the difference between a Geforce FX, and a Geforce FX Ultra? There's a big difference cause the Ultras are about 50% to 70% more expensive than the non! WHAT IS IT?! GRRR.

The Geforce FX 5200 Ultra is exactly the same as a Geforce FX 5200 apart from a speed increase. The regular Geforce FX 5200 is usually 250mhz core and 400mhz memory and the Ultra version is 325mhz core and 650mhz memory. The GF FX 5200 Ultra is VERY overpriced considering most of the time the GF4 Ti4200 wipes the floor with it and is much cheaper.

The Geforce FX 5600 Ultra is also exactly the same as the Geforce FX 5600 apart from a speed increase. The basic 5600 is 325mhz core and 550mhz memory and the ultra version is 350mhz core and 700mhz memory.

Oh sorry i'm kinda confused here. Kicking myself for posting this late at night, having a hard time writing anything coherant. ^.^

What I mean is the FX series. I'm looking for a Geforce FX 5600 Ultra specificly. Now i noticed the 5200s have Ultra and Non-ultra models, and the price hike to match. However i only found one type of 5600, and I'm new to all these fancy specs.

So what I mean to say, is are there two types of Ge Fx 5600s? Ultra and non-Ultra, or simply one? And if two, which shal I buy! First time I've come accross so many types of the same video card! Gah! help me! >.<*
