I'm assuming you're talking about the ATI Radeon cards. The 64mb DDR Radeon and the 32mb DDR All in Wonder Radeon. Both cards have Video in and Video out. The AIW also has a built in Stereo TV Tuner to watch tv on your pc.

The AIW card has a DVI connector(for digital LCD displays) instead of the standard hd15 pin connector, but it does come with an adapter to use a regular hd15 pin monitor. The AIW has TV-on-demand to take total control of your TV experience: pause live TV, create your own instant replays, or record TV broadcasts for later viewing. [note: that last line was pretty much taken directly from my AIW Radeon box:)]. It has also has an interactive Program Guide(Guide Plus+).

edit: The DVI connector is available only on the AGP version of the AIW not the PCI version according to the box.

Vivo is Video In and Video Out.

The AIW has that as well but also has a Cable connector and you want use it like a TV. You can't watch TV with the Vivo. That's the main difference.

I want to get one of those Radeon SE's when the come out, but I also want to watch TV on my computer with stuff like pausing live and recording....so what can I do? Get a capture card? Or maybe a PCI version of the Radeon AIW to suplement my agp Radeon SE?? What can I do?? I have Win2k and that's definitely an issue for alot of AIW and capture cards. Help anyone??

"Or maybe a PCI version of the Radeon AIW to suplement my agp Radeon SE??"

If you use an AIW card as your secondary card you will not be able to use any of the tv tuner functions of the card. If you check out ATI's website that is what they say, I think it's in the AIW family faq.

I was going to get a pci version of the AIW Radeon to use as a secondary card with my 32mb Geforce 2 GTS card, but then I read that from ATI's website, so I just sold my GTS and got the AGP AIW Radeon.

Another difference is the s-video in, not available on the VIVO. Win2k and my AIW Radeon are a great combination.

AIW also has S/PDIF for Dolby Digital 5.1 output for attachment to a dolby digital decoder.

also one big difference is that the retail 64mb DDR is clocked at 183mhz while the AIW is only 166mhz.

however my AIW is running @ 190/190 quite easily right now

the retail 64mb DDR is clocked at 183mhz while the AIW is only 166mhz.

All[1] the other Radeons have the slower clocked memory as well.
The retail 64 is the only 183MHz Radeon currently. Hopefully on the
next generation ATI will be able to get enough fast memory to make
all the Radeon II cards run over 200MHz (like they had originally planned)

[1] There are some OEM models that are down to 143MHz IIRC
