Crucial 184-Pin 1GB ECC Registered DDR PC-3200, Model CT12872Y40B 18 chip - OEM $407
(why is this so expensive???)

and

Transcend 184 Pin 1GB PC-3200 ECC Registered Memory Module - Retail $216
PQI POWER Series 184-Pin 1GB ECC REG DDR PC-3200, Model MD441GROE - Retail $248
Corsair XMS Extreme Memory Speed Series, 184 Pin 1GB ECC Registered DDR PC-3200 $318

Do all of these come as 2x512 or some come as 1 x 1 gig? Because 1 gig sticks are more expensive than 2x512 = 1 gig.

lol. Building a rackmount server, and just 'buying anything' isn't really a smart choice. If you don't know, dont' reply. I just figure maybe someone knows why that particular memory is $200 more than everything else.

BUMP ^^.

Please read the forum rules Tarrant64. You aren't making any friends with your frequent bumps and wise guy reply. One bump per four hours allowed.

FYI, I didn't have a lot of time to decide on that memory. And it was important cause it is being ordered today(the expensive one..$407). So kinda needed my answer real quick. Don't take it personal, and I'm not hear to piss everyone off with bumps either. If your getting mad about it, your taking it a little 'too' seriously.
