whats the difference in the 3 DVD X-Copies?

I was going to buy DVD X Copy then Frys started selling DVD X-Copy Xpress then I saw DVD X-Copy Gold Edition. Whats the difference between them?

Don't buy any of them.

DVDXCopy splits a DVD-9 onto two blank dvd writable medias. dvdfab is freeware and does the EXACT samething. Updates the program frequently.

DVDXCopy Xpress compresses a DVD-9 to fit on one dvd writable media. Quality is lost in the process. DVDShrink does the exact samething and many people feel with better results. It is freeware also.

DVDXCopy Gold just combines the two programs into one. Waste of money.

The only program that isn't freeware that I feel is worth the money is Pinnacle InstantCopy simply because it produces better compressed DVD9 to DVD5 copies. Of course there are bugs with it that make it a pain in the ass sometimes.

DVDShrink and DVDFab offer everything DVDXCopy and Xpress offer.

That company has sold freeware in the past and is also the reason why we have so much "copy any dvd without a dvd burner" in the past few years. Like stated above, there are cheaper alternatives out there.

Well I used to recommend DVD2One because it was one of the first on the block but with DVDShrink out, I can't find any reason to recommend something that costs money when a better free program exists.

True, I quite agree. I guessed there would be a post something to this effect but but I had already posted. But I agree. DVDShrink 2.3 is very good and is what I am currently using.
