The SLK-900 is a larger version of the SLK-800 that is built to support 92mm fans by default and also introduces a bolt attachment like the Alphas and Swiftechs on the market. Its increased surface area over the SLK-800 offers slight improvements, although their designs are nearly identical. It costs ~$50 w/out a fan.

The SLK-800 has 3 versions, the original, the 800A (2 extra fins, slightly different cut-outs on the profile of each fin), and the 800U which is identical to the 800A except it has a bolt-on mechanism identical to the SLK-900 and is designed to support 80mm fans natively. However, you can fit 92mm fans on it as well. You basically have your choice of the bolt-on attachment used with the SLK-900 or the standard 3 prong Socket-A clip. You should be able to find either in quantity although the SLK-800U may carry a slight premium over the SLK-800A. The U costs ~$40, where the A is closer to $35. You can check out SVC, as they carry a full line of ThermalRight products including all of the 800/900 variants. They also tend to have the cheapest prices on them.

I personally went with the SLK-800A b/c I've been using bolt-on heatsinks for almost 2 years and got tired of having to remove my mobo from my mobo tray everytime I wanted to access my CPU.
