What's the difference between white/regular chocolate?

For some reason I've always thought white chocolate tasted better... sweet somehow or something. I figured white chocolate was just a marketing gimmick, but now i'm wondering if there's actually a difference besides the color.

Dark chocolate sucks.

And like other's said, white chocolate isn't actually chocolate. No cocoa powder, so of course it tastes much different.

Hmm...I think I've heard that dark chocolate is generally the best for you as far as chocolates go. And I think milk was the worst, making white sorta in between.
