Im seeing the 90nm...thats it....but im not planning on overclocking so what do you guys think?

if im ognna get some better speed, especially in gamming id go with the later, plsu i do worry about heat sometimes so....

the more expensive one is as you saw a 90nm A64 3500+, or winchester. the other is a 130nm a64 3500+, or newcastle. the winchester will consume less power and have a higher threshold for overclocking. but from the links that you gave the winchester is an OEM product meaning that it comes only with the CPU. the newcastle on the other hand comes with CPU, HSF and warranty. since you aren't going to overclock save some money and stick with the newcastle core.

$325 for the 3500+ with no HSF is not worth it IMO, especially if you're not going to overclock. You'll notice no performance difference. Go with the 130nm version with the retail HSF.
