that's the difference.

but i can't remember what the difference is except that CG is a newer stepping of the venice.

BP is an E3 stepping, and CG is an E4 stepping. E3 chips have been demonstrated as good overclockers, whereas E4 is relatively poor in terms of overclockability.

which is wierd, as they are charging more for the E4.
