What's the difference between the MS IntelliMouse and the IntelliMouse Explorer???

Besides the price, what other feature(s) sets them apart? I haven't seen them in person yet so I can't tell if they're just shaped different or if there's more to it. What's justifying the ~$15 price difference?????

Yes, I'm talking about the Optical versions. I'm sorry I didn't make that clear. From what I can tell by the pictures, the explorer version is the bigger one, made to fit your hand better. But is there anything else different between the two optical ones? Or it just costs ~$15 to make it fit better in your hand. I currently have the Logitech (non-optical) mouseman which is the larger one, I like the fit and feel of it. I was trying to figure out if that's what the Explorer model is. Thanks!!!

Yes, they are shaped very differently, also, one is optical.

You're talking about the intellieye mice, right? If so, they're verry different. The MS is a somewhat small, white normal mouse. The explorer is a large, ergonomic, red and silver mouse.

I like the explorer, fits the hand verry nicely.

Also, there's the IntelliMouse Optical, It's in betweene the MS and Explorer. Athsetically it's more like the explorer, exept it's unihanded, so buttons 4 and 5 are pinky and thumb, instead of both thumb.

The explorer adds a couple of programmable buttons on the thumb side (right hand). I have one of both and I really like the explorer, but my girlfriend's hand don't fit it too well (small hands).

there is the intellimouse with intellieye, the intellimouse optical, and intellimouse explorer. the latter 2 have 5 buttons including the scroll wheel.
