whats the difference between the IBM T40/41/42 ??

buying used off of ebay or fs/ft trying to keep it under $1100.

but what's difference? all I can remember is the t42 has that new HD anti-shock sensor. right?

T40 is the basic Pentium M/855 chipset platform, T41 adds the HD active protection system, T42 adds the new Dothan Pentium M with 2MB of cache, 15" display on some models, and fingerprint reader on some models.

T43 Will be at a premium not cheaper
as it is to incorporate all the new laptop tech.
PCI express, SATA HD, DDR2, 533FSB so on...
