What's the difference between Snickers and Baby Ruth?

I had a hankerin' for a candy bar and don't usually eat either... so I don't know the difference. One coworker says it's the nuget, another thinks it's the amount of chocolate, but I don't trust either of 'em.

So, what's the difference?

Inspired by your question I took a trip to the vending machine but sadly they didn't have any Baby Ruths just Snikers so I couldn't do a comparison. Anyhow, from what I remember Baby Ruths have whole peanuts and Snikers splits the peanuts. Also, Snikers just tastes better. I think its the nougat.

Both are fine pieces of corporate sweetness. I'm in the minority in saying that Baby Ruth is the better choice but that's my opinion. Perhaps it's because it's longer and appears to be a better bargain - dunno. Snickers has creamier caramel and better chocolate that tends to stay intact opposed to Baby Ruths' chocolate tendancy to crumble and lay flecks of choco-shrapnel on your surroundings. I would make an educated guess that the Baby Ruth has a higher ratio of peanuts but Snickers' nougat is of a higher cast.

If you are have the chance, I would suggest picking up a Snickers with almonds as that bar is clearly the hybrid elite candy bar of new millenium (or some other similar cliche marketing tripe)

I would say Baby Ruth has a higher turdability factor.
