I am looking for a new video card as I'm a gamer and would like to know the difference between Radeon 9800 and the 9800 pro. Any help would be great, thanks in advance

9800 Pro is clocked a bit higher. 9800 is lower clocked, so it's just a tiny tad slower than a 9700 pro. As for the exact clocks, someone else will know. If you need benchmarks, someone could probably link some as well.

Here is the roundup of the latest videocards and Radeon 9800vs radeon 9800 Pro are included in it

http://www.anandtech.com/video/showdoc.html?i=1890&p=5

Radeon 9800 XT with 256 mb is 412/730
Radeon 9800 Pro with 256mb is clocked at 380/700
Radeon 9800 Pro with 128mb 380/680
Radeon 9700 Pro with 128mb 325/620
Radeon 9800 non-Pro with 128mb 325/580

here is a direct review of Radeon 9800 card

Also remember you can mod the 9800np into 9800 Pro something you cant' do with 9700Pro even though 9700 Pro is faster in most games than standard non-pro

But 9800 Non-Pro is about $240 (search on www.pricewatch.com) and Radeon 9700 Pro is around $30-40 more
