What's the difference between Radeon 8500 and 8500 LE?

What does the 8500 have that the LE version doesn't?
How does the LE version compare with the Geforce3 Ti200? They are about the same price.

The Radeon 8500 LE is clocked lower than the 8500. But, you can overclock it up to 8500 speeds using power strip. Most of the reviews I have read rate the LE better than the Geforce TI200. I have an LE and love it. If you want more information do a search on google and you will come up with many reviews and in depth information on the card. Good luck.

Shouldn't you just get a 8500 over a 8500 LE? It saves you the trouble of OCing, esp if you don't know what/how to do (it)

ocing a vid card is easy
just download powerstrip or a similar program,
go under performance profiles, adjust your clock and mem speeds, test to see if its stable
most progs have simple sliders to adjust speeds
non extreme vid card ocing (i.e.stuff not requiring bios hacks or voltage mods and the like) is easy and fairly safe
if a speed locks up your comp, powerstrip has areset defaults hot key to press during windows startup or you can boot into safe mode and disable the oc program from starting using msconfig

Also, the RADEON 8500 LE comes in many flavours and can be clocked as low as 250MHz core and 200MHz (400 MHz DDR) memory. Do yourself a favour and spend the extra few bucks and grab a RETAIL Built by ATI 128MB 8500. You'll be glad you did.
