Whats the difference between Myspace and Facebook?

facebook doesnt let you throw in a gaudy tiled background, 3 embedded songs and music videos playing simultaneously, and 50 flash/java applet thingies, with sparking font from 10 different strangers saying 'thnx 4 the add'

Basically, myspace is for kids in middle school and highschool and is very much centered around it. Facebook is more of an 'adult' tool to stay connected with friends, its very clean and straightforward.

avg. facebook intelligence > avg. myspace intelligence

I'll have to agree. I spent about 10 minutes the other day trying to set up a facebook account and decided I didn't know enough people to mess with it.

Myspace is much easier to work with, and I've found it to be a good way to keep in touch with friends who I might not normally do so.

Facebook is much, MUCH more polished and clean-looking than myspace. I can only tolerate so much teenybopper eye-candy and emo-goth angst, so I now prefer facebook. Additionally, facebook will let you put up as many pictures as you want. I've got about 400 in 15 different albums on my file. I use facebook mostly for my online photo album, I guess.
