what's the difference between MSI NX6800GT-T2D256E vs. MSI NX6800-TD256E 256MB DDR SLI

I'm sorry and I know this is a dumb question, but can someone please explain what's the difference between MSI NX6800GT-T2D256E vs. MSI NX6800-TD256E 256MB DDR SLI? The names are similar, but not exactly so I'm trying to figure out are these the same products, or if anyone knows of any bench marks between the two?

Thanks for helping!

ok, so they are different cards, one is a GT and the other isn't... what I can't find is the performance difference.

Its probably a vanilla 6800. PCI-e non-ultra cards come with 256 mb of memory. The pci-e version of it cannot be unlocked to 16/6 either. It also has a 600mhz clock on the memory intead of 700 like the agp flavor.

okay, based on that I have another larger question, but I'll start a new thread because it's a dramatically different question.

Yup. The regular 6800 is a 12\5 chip, while the 6800GT is a 16\6 chip. Basically, the performance difference between the 2, at lower resolutions (i.e. 1024x768) is virtually nil, but as the resolution and AA\AF are cranked, then the "handicap" on the regular 6800 is apparent.

Not to mention the GT uses DDR3 while the Nu is stuck with DDR1.
