what's the difference between mozilla and mozilla firebird?

BTW, Firebird is smaller and faster, but still in beta.

Yeah. I downloaded Firebird because I thought it would be faster than Mozilla. But it's not the case on my computer for some reason.
 
Firebird is gonna be the Browser bundled in the MOZILLA SUITE. For now, the mozilla browser is just mozilla browser.
 
Mozilla is basically Firebird, Thunderbird (the mail and news client), an html editor and a bunch of extensions all bundled together, without giving you the choice of whether or not you need thunderbird, the html editor, etc. By using firebird you cut out all the extra crap, and you can install just the extensions you need, which makes it use less resources (read: faster).
