selling company secrets and backstabing your friend to get promoted are 2 different things. Which is unethical, and which is immoral? i dont know the answer, so i'm asking you all.

This is how I rate it:
Immoral - Backstabing a friend. In my morals I have set, I will not do this at all, I think it is just wrong.
Unethical - Selling company secrets. I would not lose my job for some big bonus and then really screw my company out of the money they pay me for my job there and then I have a chance of losing my job.

Ethical - based more on internal values of company?

Immoral - unacceptable from the public's point of view?

Synonymous (IMO)

While 'Ehtics' is a term used in the Corporate/Political world, 'Morals' is a term used in the Social/Religious world...Both mean the same.
