What's the difference between Memtest86+ and Memtest86?

Just curious. I think I've always used memtest86, but recently had to do some troubleshooting at work and downloaded memtest86+. Seemed to work pretty much the same. Thoughts?

I think someone else aside from the original program author makes Memtest86+ ?

I forget though, someone else can verify or debunk what i said.

Development on MT86 had stagnated so some others took the ball and ran with it. Now the original is getting caught up. I run five testers MT86, MT86+, the one you can DL from M$, CheckIt's memory test and the one in VCom's SystemSuite or FixIt utilities. Usually if I can run all 5 then the problem is somewhere else. You can go the the web sites for the two MTs and they list the new features in the releases (usually called Release Notes).
