What's the difference between LP hard drives and hard drives without the letters LP?

On the onvia site. there are 4 versions of the 45 gb 75 gxp drive. one is a retail package, one is a regular OEM, and the other two are the same with the letters "LP" in the title and has no descrption.

LP means low profile. Without LP means the drive is standard heighth.

is there a difference? because the LP versions are cheaper.

if you search for "75GXP" you'll actually see like 6 versions of the 45 gb drive. I excluded the -20 pk- versions.

Buy.com sells LP drives for the most part too. I don't see any difference between my 75 GXP and my friends RETAIL one. I bought an LP from buy.com.
