newegg's got the 8KHAL+ for $71

I know the 8KHA+ has been an excellent board, but how about this 8KHAL+ w/ the 8233A southbridge? I'm in desperate need of a new board, so please share some knowledge! :)

The 8KHAL has OC but its mainly with jumpers instead of through the BIOS. I have had mine about 8 months, I think its a good board for the money if you're not worried about OCing but want the epox quality.

Do a google search, there were a couple reviews of the board on somewhat obscure tech sites it got good reviews.

thanks for the help....

i was really sad when my epox 8KTA2L died on my suddenly after 1.5 years...so i was hoping another epox board to bring joy back into my life :p

well, i decided that the DDR ram was just too expensive for me, so i bought another KT133a board, an MSI k7T turbo2.

on most manufacturers models, I believe the "L" designates the board has onboard LAN

At least Intel boards are that way.. that Epox board may be the same way..

nope actually, on my epox 8KTA2L, the difference from the 8KTA2 was the chipset...it was KT133e instead of KT133.
