whats the difference between arboreal and non-arboreal

The arboreal is the darker part near the middle. The non-arboreal is everything else.

Google is great on definitions, but throw in modifiers and it falters badly. This is such instance. Arboreal is indeed things related to trees, however throw in the modifier shorty, and you get all things about bushes.

Can't say I've ever heard "arboreal," but I knew immediately from "arbor" that it meant "relating to trees."
