Video cards always have two fill rates associated with them, x number of pixels/s and y number of texels/s. What's the difference between the two? Thanks guys.
So a texel is just a pixel with texture added to it? If that's the case then I guess the texel fill rate is more important than the pixel one because virtually every game today uses multitexturing. Is that the general idea? Correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks.
