Anyone experts in this area? I had to go buy one today from K-Mart. I bought this kinda small Martha Stewart saute pan.

Do you guys know of any GOOD brands of cooking ware that is like top of the line. Martha Stewarts pans suck goat nads. I just had to buy it because I was mad hungry and there was no place else around that area that sold pots/pans.

Any experts here can tell me what are some good pans to buy, let me know. I want to invest some of my hard earned money into some pots and pans. TEEHEE.

all-clad
kitchen aid
calphalon
..some others

some are non-stick, some are stainless steel. people have their own reasons for purchasing whatever they do but keep in mind that professional cooks generally use stainless steel. for a frying pan it may be better to have it non-stick for easy clean up but you can't put the non-stick stuff in the oven at high temperatures if you ever cook anything that requires it. you bought a martha stewart pan???

AllClad is nice and comes in four styles encluding copper, but there are some French and Swiss heavy copper stuff, forget brand names, that is tres suite, but costs alot. Some of it is like for cooking for a castle, huge pans, about $800 and up.

Copper is nice, but stainless with thick, maybe aluminum layered, are practical and nice to cook in.

You could get by with a good wok if you got gas and a good big flame.
