What's the difference between a Plasma TV, and an LCD TV

So?
I've seen that LCD tv's are much more expensive than Plasma tv's, and i'm just wondering what the difference is.

LCD = Liquid Crystal Display
Plasma = A Combination of Gases...

OH, didn't know, i just thought they were all LCDish.
So how do they get all the different colors on a plasma tv? I mean, a neon light is filled up with different gases, and the light becomes a certain color depending on the gases found on the tube (the tube is all the same color), but a plasma tv has to get millions of dots on the screen to be different colors. If u could explain how the plasma tv does this, it would make me happy!!, or just a link.
