We can still get ours in October :D.......................:thumbsup:?

Heard that today. Thought it was cute. Can't be original to Redsox Nation can it? If it's 20 years old or something, I apologize. I've got a question to everyone else not down with Boston:

Is Redsox Nation known nationwide or are we all biased? I mean I see the Yankee fans, the Cheeseheads, the Steeler fans, etc. But it really is a way of life in Boston. I'm kind of curious about that.

Incidentally, I'm not sure if there's any truth to the rumor that the league is making us bat opposite handed tomorrow night after the 5th inning of game 1......

The real thing that sets the Fenway Frank apart is that there's grime dating back to 1912 in the hot dog cooker.

If you really think Redsox fans love their team more than any other fans love their own, then you are an idiot and should be banned from the internet. Good day.

I agree. I live in boston and I even think the whole Red Sox Nation thing is stupid. Why should I have to sign up and pay to become a fan of the Red Sox? The only reason to sign up is because you are guaranteed two tickets to one game. I especially hate it when the gimmick gets non redsox fan college students to have "Red Sox fever".

After 2004 it's all over the nation now. Winning a World Series will get you bandwagon fans. If you keep winning, that bandwagon continues to grow. It's huge right now.

There are Red Sox fans every where and in large numbers.

There are only a few other teams with a following like that.
Both New York teams, the Cubs the Dodgers out west, Atlanta across the south.

Every time they play in Tampa there are more Sox fans than Rays fans in the ball park.

I am sure there are a lot of bandwagon fans, but there is still a core fan who was there when the Sox hadn't won a world series in 86 years.

Baseball needs revenue sharing and a salary cap.

What's the difference between a Fenway Frank and one at your ballpark?

Who cares, the dogs at the Jake suck compared to Cleveland Muni. In the old stadium they carried steamers, dogs and buns were piping hot, soft, fresh, perfect. New stadium, you get a cold dog in a stale bun wrapped in a cheap ass foil wrapper. Tastes like it has been sitting in a pile of dog poo for 3 days.

Would you look at that. Another Red Sox post, these were hard to come by after they Sox were down 3-1 to Cleveland. Not a surprise the "fans" come out of hiding after a win.

Boston fans are the definition of fairweather fans. They're the first to disappear when their team hits a rough spot, and they make the most noise when they're on top.

Speaking of that...

I'm an Orioles fan, and when the Yankees or Sox come to town to play us I refuse to go to the game. I'm not going to say all of them are complete stuck-up assholes, but a hell of a large majority are.

And don't get on me about the Orioles, I know they suck. But going to a home game and hearing more cheers than boos when the visiting team hits a home run is just heartbreaking.

Oh, and I was at the 30-3 Orioles-Rangers game...

I hate Peter Angelos!
