Whats the difference between 128 Bit and 64 Bit Memory ?

My Motherbaord says it suports 128 Bit and 64 Bit Memory but my daughter's motherboard says it only suports 64 Bit ?

Whats the difference between the 2 thanks ?

128bit is more commonly known as dual channel, while 64 bit is known a single channel.
Memory transfers in either 128 bits at a time or 64 bits at a time.
