whats the main difference between these...is the reason worth another $50

Pretty sure the Raptor X has a fancy window that allows you to look and see the drive spinning. Thats the only difference IIRC.

The only difference is the fancy window, which in 90% of cases, you can't see anyway. It is odd that the X is cheaper. Only explanation might be the rebate tied to the non-X version, which nets out to about a $20 savings over the "X" version.

cool i was jsut wondering...ive had the x version for about 2 weeks now and its been great, just wondering if the other one was better

Other than the window there really isn't much of a difference, oh the price at most retailers.
